Police Personnel Board

This committee interviews and makes recommendations concerning eligible police officer candidates for employment and promotion within the Police Department. The board also hears appeals of disciplinary action for all ranks of the Police Department and recommends courses of action. Members serve for a period of three (3) years and are appointed by the Mayor with approval by the City Council. (Ordinance Nos. 137, 328, 534, 909, 1226, 1235 and 1883)
