The Chesterfield Citizens Environmental Advisory Committee (CCEAC) actively participates in city and regional events to promote resource conservation and environmental awareness. The CCEAC also develops and disseminates educational materials on topics such as recycling, composting and proper disposal of household hazardous waste.

CCEAC MISSION STATEMENT:
The Chesterfield Citizens Environmental Advisory Committee, acting in an advisory capacity to the Parks, Recreation and Arts Department, seeks to:

  • Research and recommend implementation, improvements, and extensions of all recycling issues relevant to the city.
  • Investigate and identify environmental issues to enhance the city's quality of life.
  • Provide material and discussions for education in the areas of recycling, conservation, and control of our environment.
  • Serve as a source of feedback to the Parks, Recreation and Arts Department for citizen recommendations and concerns for recycling and environmental issues.
