Each year, billions of dollars are lost by companies and individuals to scams. The Chesterfield Police Department has developed an informational program to help reduce the likelihood of residents falling victim to these scams. The scams covered in the presentation are the grandparent scam, the fake government agency scam, the lottery scam, the puppy scam, the romance scam and email phishing.
