Schoettler Road Sidewalk Extension

Schoettler Road Sidewalk Extension

The City of Chesterfield has been awarded a federal grant to construct a 5’ wide sidewalk on the east side of Schoettler Road, between Windsor Valley Court and Greenleaf Valley Drive. An existing retaining wall will also be relocated to the east to make room for the new sidewalk and improve vehicle site distance at that curve. Once complete, the project will fill the last remaining sidewalk gap on Schoettler Road and provide a pedestrian route on at least one side of Schoettler Road from Clayton Road to Chesterfield Parkway, and it will improve pedestrian access to the new Logan Park. Right-of-way acquisition will commence in 2025, and project construction is expected in 2026.
