Annual Budget

The City of Chesterfield has been awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the GFOA continuously since 1991.

The GFOA established the Distinguished Budget Presentation Awards Program in 1984 to encourage state and local governments to prepare and issue budget documents of the highest quality. Top-quality budget documents are essential if citizens and others with an interest in a government's finances are to be fully informed of the budget process. Better budget documents contribute to better decision making and enhanced accountability.

The Government Finance Officer's Association (GFOA) is dedicated to the sound management of government financial resources.
