Safety Town Volunteers

High School and Middle School volunteers are needed as instructors for this program.  They will be working along side Chesterfield Police Officers in teaching the preschoolers about safety.  Each Volunteer will be responsible for managing 4 to 6 preschoolers during class instruction, play time, snack time, and coloring time. 

Volunteers must be at least 12 years old and willing to commit to a full 2-week session.
They will be required to be present Monday through Friday from 9:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.
Lunch will be provided. 

The session dates are:  
Session 1 June 07 - June 18, 2021     FULL
Session 2 June 21 - July 2, 2021 
Session 3 July 12 - July 23, 2021 

All sessions will be held at:
Chesterfield Community Church

Safety Town Volunteer Application 2021

  • Please indicate which sessions you will be available to work by marking the appropriate space provided below.  Each volunteer will be provided with a Safety Town t-shirt. Each volunteer will be required to be present during the times and dates indicated for the session they are assigned.  Volunteers can sign up for more than one session and will be notified upon acceptance of their placement.

    Sessions run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

    If the applicant is under the age of 17, then the applicant's parent or legal guardian must sign below giving permission to volunteer.

  • Please submit a paragraph explaining why you wish to be considered as a volunteer for the Safety Town Program.  Also, an emailed letter of recommendation will be required from at least two of the following to:
