Meraki Dragonfly Yoga will be providing Yoga Classes at the Chesterfield Community Center. Classes at taught by Jamie Blackson, Certified Yoga Instructor and Marine Corps Veteran.

TUESDAYS & Thursdays: 10:45am - 11:45am- Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga offers the benefits of other yoga classes but is more accessible by use of a chair as a prop support and balance. This is a gentle practice in which most postures are performed while seated, with a few standing options. This class will incorporate an exploration of alignment, strength, balance, flexibility, breath and relaxation. Very gentle and all are welcome to this class. No yoga experience needed.

THURSDAYS: 9:30am - 10:30 am- Morning Flow

In this all-levels, non-heated, vinyasa style class you will mindfully love through sequences of postures while pairing breath to movement. This class allows you to arrive, enjoy a moment of stillness, warm up and energize the body. Modifications will be offered with the use of props or challenges will be added to aid in the depth or growth of you own personal practice. Moderate intensity, good body awareness is recommended, and prior yoga experience helpful but not required.

TUESDAYS: 9:30am - 10:30 am- Gentle Yoga  

Gentle Yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. In this all-levels, non-heated, hatha style class will bring awareness to our breath as we work through postures. Once we move into a posture, we will hold it for 5-7 breaths. This class is low intensity. No prior yoga experiences necessary.
