Storm Damage Information
The St. Louis area, including the City of Chesterfield, was affected by a substantial storm on the evening of March 14, 2025. Impact throughout the City of Chesterfield varies substantially, with some areas having little to no damage while others have significant damage. The City, County, and State are working to ensure all roadways are passable. -

The City of Chesterfield has recognized Kelli Unnerstall as the 2024 Chesterfield Citizen of the Year. Unnerstall, a proactive community organizer and future-minded service leader, is recognized for her involvement in city planning and development. She will be recognized and receive her award at a future City Council meeting. -

A Message from Mayor Bob Nation
Chesterfield is located just about 25 minutes west of downtown St. Louis, along the Interstate 64/U.S. Highway 40 corridor. Our city was formed in 1988 by citizens who cared deeply about the area and about the quality of life in the area.
We have peaceful residential neighborhoods, bustling shopping areas, beautifully designed business establishments, and well laid out parks and pathways. Our City is served by two excellent school districts as well as several outstanding private schools. We seek resident involvement in community affairs, and continually promote transparency in municipal government matters.
