CANCELLED - Downtown Chesterfield Special Business District

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Chesterfield City Hall, 690 Chesterfield Parkway W, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017, the City Council of the City of Chesterfield, Missouri (the “City Council”) will hold a public hearing to consider the establishment of the Downtown Chesterfield Special Business District (the “District”) pursuant to Sections 71.790 to 71.808 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended (the “Act”).

The proposed District consists of approximately 100.9 acres of real property generally bounded by Interstate 64 to the north, E Chesterfield Ctr. / MO 340 to the east, and Chesterfield Parkway W to the south and west.  The proposed District would provide funding for services within the proposed District, in accordance with the petition seeking to establish the proposed District, which is on file with and available from the City Clerk.

Owners, businesses, and all members of the public are invited to submit comments to the attention of the City Council prior to the date of the hearing at the address listed below.  All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.  The City Council shall hear all protests and receive evidence for or against the proposed action; rule upon all protests which determination shall be final; and may continue the public hearing from time to time, all in accordance with the Act.
