Aquatics Facility Feasibility Study
The City of Chesterfield's Parks, Recreation and Arts Department has sought out a third party to conduct a feasibility study for the Chesterfield Family Aquatic Center. We are looking at the operational functions of the facility, maintenance aspects and overall programming such as; swim lessons, swim & dive team, riverwalk, dive clinic, dive in movie, snorkeling, sup yoga, etc.
There are several opportunities for our residents to get involved and share their thoughts.
First, the Consultants have developed a survey. If you haven't yet, we ask that you take a few minutes and complete the survey.
Second, we are inviting the residents of Chesterfield to an Aquatics Facility Town Hall Meeting. We want your opinion. This is a perfect opportunity to provide input on the future of swimming in Chesterfield. Your input will help guide decisions being made to address the increased maintenance costs and the age of the Chesterfield Family Aquatic Center.
The meeting was held on July 18th at 6 p.m. at Chesterfield City Hall.
