NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TAX INCREMENT FINANCING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CHESTERFIELD, MISSOURI
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at the Chesterfield City Hall, 690 Chesterfield Parkway W, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017, the Tax Increment Financing Commission of the City of Chesterfield, Missouri, (the “TIF Commission”) will continue a public hearing to consider the approval of a redevelopment plan for the Chesterfield Regional Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Plan and Project and related redevelopment projects pursuant to the Real Property Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, Revised Statutes of Missouri Sections 99.800-99.865, as amended (the “TIF Act”). The redevelopment projects are expected to be constructed in five or more redevelopment project areas.
The proposed redevelopment area consists of approximately 241 acres of real property generally bounded by Wild Horse Creek Road and S. Outer 40 Road to the north, Clarkson Road to the east, Chesterfield Parkway to the south and the riparian corridor to the west. The proposed redevelopment projects would convert this land into a mixture of commercial, retail, office, residential and/or service uses for the City’s residents that would eliminate blight and enhance the economic viability of the community.
A draft of the proposed redevelopment plan and summary of the proposed redevelopment projects will be available for review by any interested party during regular business hours at the office of the City Clerk, Chesterfield City Hall, 690 Chesterfield Parkway W, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017, or online at https://www.chesterfield.mo.us/tif.html.
The public and representatives of all taxing districts affected by this proposed redevelopment plan and redevelopment projects are invited to submit comments to the attention of the TIF Commission prior to the date of the hearing at the address listed below. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.
