Weekend event will use local roads for biking

Attention Chesterfield Residents:

Saturday, September 28, there will be a 3 minute firework display taking place shortly after 8 p.m. close to the Chesterfield Amphitheater. This display will be a part of the Pedal the Cause event being held at the Amphitheater. (Please note this display is for event participants only).

Sunday, September 29, is the actual Pedal the Cause bike ride. Approximately 3,800 cyclists will be converging on roadways throughout Chesterfield, but primarily the courses are out-and-back routes to and from the Amphitheater. The majority will travel down Baxter to Edison to Spirit of St. Louis Blvd to North Outer Forty to the Chesterfield Outlets and back. Rides will begin at 7 a.m. and should end by 3 p.m. Edison will be closed between Long and Baxter from 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.. Lydia Hill will be closed between Chesterfield Parkway and Baxter during the same time period. There will also be lane restrictions on Baxter and North Outer Road.
