Proposed Base Flood Elevation Revisions for St. Louis County, Missouri and Incorporated Areas

The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency is soliciting technical information or comments on the proposed Base (1-percent-annual-chance) Flood Elevations (BFEs) shown in the Preliminary Flood Insurance Study (FIS) and on the Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for the City of Chesterfield. These proposed BFEs are the basis for the floodplain management measures that the City of Chesterfield is required to either adopt or show evidence of having in effect in order to qualify or remain qualified for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
