City of Chesterfield employees donated $330 to the American Heart Association

The City of Chesterfield employees donated $330 to the American Heart Association on National Wear Red Day on February 6, 2015!  Each employee donated money and wore a red item of clothing to bring awareness to Heart Disease.

National Wear Red Day and February is American Heart Month to bring awareness and prevention to the number one killer of women.  According to the American Heart Association, more than 500,000 American women die each year due to cardiovascular disease.  One in four American deaths is a result of heart disease.
